Now, BONUS!! It was rhea314's idea that I sing the Canadian National Anthem. I gave it my BEST go, but it didn't make it into the podfic. It is currently at the end in my reader's notes, and separated out below for your listening pleasure. I apologise for my bad French, but correctly pronouncing things AND holding a tune is harder than I thought.

You've done an absolutely marvelous job! I love the way your Geno sounds. And it took me a while to wrap my head around that nickname as I'd never heard it before (being as I've never heard any English speaking people talk about him before) and in my mind the only logical thing to call Evgeni Malkin has always been Evgeni Malkin. :P Hearing it is a lot weirder than reading it for some reason.

After listening to this I'm now of the opinion that Hockey RPF is an awesome idea. I had my doubts, but decided to try it out and I guess I made a good choice to start with. <3

Thank you! I am so pleased that you enjoyed this podfic. Geno is the absolute best so I am extra pleased that you liked the way I chose to voice him. For me I always find it odd when people call him 'Evegeni', but that's Americanisation for you?

Hey, so I listened to this a couple of months ago and I loved it so much that I didn't even know what to SAY. I guess I thought my scribbled note reading 'A++++ WLA & to anything knight_tracer does that looks remotely interesting' WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH. But, all of those things, plus I love how you bring this amazing story (which I doubt I would have experienced without the podfic) alive, plus I adore your Sid, PLUS your national anthem in French was AMAZING. I may have sung along with my own completely-by-rote-not-by-actual-French-learning pronunciation that I clearly have not forgotten since elementary school / that time ten years ago when I worked in schools. Thank you for making this and sharing it. ♥
