For awesome women recs, are you at all familiar with Agent Carter? If so, I love Black Water Rising by Sholio and hey good looking, what's cooking by Beatrice_Otter. Both are great Agent Carter fics with Peggy being her awesome self.

Hi! Here via your comment on the Snowflake Challenge post. I love awesome women too, so here are the first few things I could think of:

TV: Have you seen Parks and Recreations? The show's run is over, and the first season is kind of hit and miss, but there's a diverse cast of female characters who get excellent character development over the seasons.

I tried to get into Parks and Rec once and failed, but thanks for reminding me that's it's worth another go. I have seen great things about it.

Ladies-based recs:

- The Toby Daye books by Seanan McGuire. Urban fantasy with a female protagonist and lots and lots of awesome ladies in the main and supporting cast, some of whom are canonically queer. The guys are awesome too!

- Lady Maisery, an all-female folk trio
