Podfics that came out better than I expected :D

1) For a Thousand Summers - Les Mis - basically gen

I recorded this for Awesome Ladies last year. I really loved how my Cosette voice came out. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to pull off her vulnerability while still conveying her inner strength.

2) Just A Counterfeit James Dean - Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Buffy/Faith

The story is 57K and very plot heavy, so I knew before I started that I really had to nail the voices otherwise no one would bother finishing the podfic. I had so much fun with this podfic though. Faith's voice seemed to come so naturally and I just loved spending so much time revelling in her confidence and attitude. Buffy's voice came less naturally, but I was pleased with the overall result.

3) Where One Starts From - The Flash - Iris/Eddie/Barry

The first podfic you ever do in a fandom is always a little nerve-wracking, but jumping stright into an OT3 story is not always the best fandom decision. I LOVED it though and this is one of my favourite stories from this years ITPE. Eddie's voice came out well, I was so pleased that I was able to capture his steadiness and bright personality. I decided to attempt a sound effect for Barry's 'The Flash' voice and I was SO unsure about it, but it works well enough. Also, I watched the S1 finale while editing this podfic and it made me so sad, but <3333 Eddie.
