Women and Genderqueer First Podfic Exchange Dear Podficcer Letter...
Honestly, I believe AWESOME LADIES is a fandom in and of itself, so anything that fits under that umbrella I will love (an excellent vid for this idea is here by
Rhea). I love fandom and podfic, and I especially love podficcers. It is important to me that you love the story you are performing. However, if you would appreciate some details about my preferences, they are below.
Fandoms:
Pitch Perfect
Lost Girl
Bomb Girls
MCU (including Agents of Shield)
Young Avengers - Kate Bishop, America Chavez
Gilmore Girls
Code Name Verity
Female Hockey Players RPF - Hilary Knight, Amanda Kessel, Julie Chu especially
Faking it
Hunger Games
Brooklyn nine-nine
Disney Princesses
Firefly
Avatar: the Last Airbender
Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Buffy, Faith, Willow, Tara especially
Teen Wolf
Battlestar Galactica
Once Upon a Time
D.E.B.S.
[Also, any Media fandom with canon lesbians, which I can find to consume on the internet is excellent]
Favourite things: I love characters falling in love, making mistakes, and getting though trouble together. A happy ending is an absolute must, but I don't mind if there are complications and angst along the way.
Personal do-not-wants: non-con, permanent character death, sad endings, pregnancy, infidelity, institutional unequal power dynamics (where the power imbalance is innate and un-negotiated, e.g. teachers, religious officials, doctors, psychiatrists, prostitution).
