Going Native (and it's sequel, Going Forward) by rapfic This is long fic and has at its core that notion that Gaeta was a Starfleet Officer stranded in the colonies by a freak wormhole and had to 'go native'. Only now the survivors of the end of everything have discovered the Enterprise and by extension, the Federation! SO MUCH CROSSOVER (including my favourite flavour of Lwaxana) and a lot of really thoughtful meta about the nature of the two shows and how they deal with conflict and violence and peacekeeping.

For Our Own Benefit by smercy Or, the one where the fleet passes by Dagobah and the disturbance to the force is mighty. Great outside perspective on the fleet.

Like Never and Like Always by ladybugkay. This series of fics was never finished, but is so fucking good I'm reccing it anyway. Kara&Karl backstory, building off of the actors' canon that the two were old friends.
